About Masa Israel Journey:
Masa Israel Journey is the global leader in immersive experiences for young diaspora Jews, lasting 4-12 months and including study, volunteer, and career development programs.

The immersion into Israeli society, connection to their roots and culture, and professional growth they experience on these programs contribute to their personal development, their Jewish identity, and their deepened relationship with Israel and the Jewish people.

Role overview:
The successful candidate’s role will include:

·         Lead Generation - Running campaigns/events to expand reach.

·         Marketing - Working closely with marketing team in Israel to establish the brand locally and overseeing and developing of marketing campaigns.

·         Recruitment – Engaging with youth to increase interest and increase participant numbers.

·         Partnerships – Network and establishing partnerships with relevant schools/organisations to assist with the promotions and coordination of various launches/events and introductions to the different options available.

·         Reporting and data analysis Generating of various reports from different systems. (Experience with Salesforce is an advantage)


Successful candidates:

·         Previous marketing experience a must.

·         Strong communication skills and networking ability.

·         Should be able to work full time. Offices based at Beyachad in JHB

·         Should have experience developing and leading programming addressing Jewish identity development, youth leadership development, community service, and Israel education.

·         Knowledge of the local Jewish community and prior experience working collaboratively with community professionals (preferred)

·         Strong facilitation, project coordination, education, and organisation skills

·         Public speaking ability.

·         Understanding of and appreciation for Israeli culture, preferably including extended time in Israel and at least a beginning-intermediate understanding of Israeli history, politics, and geography.

·         Computer literate and experience using social media platforms.

·         Proactive and a creative thinker

·         Up for a challenge and a hard worker.
